Direct solliciteren Neem contact op Customs Lead - International Tax & Trade Role purpose: Lead and optimize customs, trade compliance, and cross-border processes to reduce risk, ensure regulatory adherence, and support efficient international operations. Key Responsibilities - Own customs compliance strategy, governance, and operating model across regions. - Manage import/export processes, customs declarations, and broker oversight to ensure accuracy and timeliness. - Monitor and interpret customs and trade regulations; translate requirements into practical controls and procedures. - Partner with Tax, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics to align trade activities with business objectives. - Identify and implement duty optimization opportunities (e.g., tariff classification, valuation, origin, FTAs, special regimes). - Lead audits, inquiries, and issue resolution with customs authorities; maintain documentation and evidence trails. - Develop KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives for trade compliance performance. - Support system/process enhancements (e.g., ERP, trade compliance tools) and data quality for customs filings.
