Participate in the planning and development of high-throughput screening using the Tecan liquid handler to optimize large molecule purifications
Develop and optimize protocols for the Tecan liquid handler within the context of high throughput samples purification and buffer condition screeningsExecute design of experiments (DOEs) runs to improve current purification initiativesExecute multi-variable buffer screening experiments to identify optimal buffer conditions for various large moleculesOperate various chromatography instruments (Akta Avant FPLC, Tecan Evo, Tecan Fluent)Troubleshooting various chromatography instrumentsOversee preventative maintenance of chromatography instrumentsSchedule vendor maintenance of chromatography instrumentsResponsible for planning and organizing materials for executing purification experimentsBuffer, lab supplies ordering and inventory managementSetting up/organizing necessary materials for operationsAssist with authoring process documentation, work instructions and technical reports Bachelors degree in a scientific concentrationAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipExperience with Tecan liquid handlers, AKTA Avant FPLCEffective communication and collaboration across multiple scientific teams and departmentsCollaborate/communicate with various project areas to ensure readiness and availability of samples for processingExcellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm.
