As an Industrial Cleaner in IJmuiden, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of others. No diploma or technical background is required: we teach you everything on the job! Both English- and Dutch-speaking candidates are warmly welcome. In this active entry-level role, you are responsible for maintaining, disassembling, assembling, and thoroughly cleaning life-saving safety equipment, such as breathing apparatuses and gas detection devices. What will you be doing? - Collect safety equipment from clients and carefully disassemble devices following clear step-by-step instructions - Thoroughly clean, inspect, and reassemble all components with precision - Calibrate and certify devices to ensure they are 100% safe and ready for use - Accurately register all completed tasks in the system - Enjoy variety in your work: depending on scheduling, you may occasionally drive as a chauffeur between different work sites to pick up or deliver equipment You will work 32 to 40 hours per week in a fixed, structured 2-shift rotation (06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00). Due to the early and late shift hours, the industrial site in IJmuiden is best reached using your own transportation (car or motorcycle). Waar ga je werken?
