As a bus driver, you play an important part in Amsterdam's public transport network and help keep the city connected with every journey. Help keep Amsterdam connected A packed bus. Over the announcement system, you ask passengers to move further down the aisle. The doors close. You check your mirrors and set off. From quiet neighbourhoods to busy city streets. The morning rush hour, an open bridge, a tight corner or a double-parked van. Whatever you come across, you know how to handle it. People from across Amsterdam travel on your bus. You feel at home in the busy city, surrounded by people. Your job is to get every passenger to their destination safely, comfortably and on time. What we offer You look after our passengers, so we make sure you are well looked after too. Here is what you can expect: - A salary of up to €3,565 gross per month, based on a 36-hour working week and depending on your experience. - Generous shift allowances. - A 13th-month payment, 8% holiday allowance and an additional 3.5% sustainable employability payment. - A good pension with ABP, with GVB paying two-thirds of the contribution. - Free, unlimited travel on all GVB services, including in your free time.
