The Amstel Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our rooms meet the highest five-star standards and help create an unforgettable experience for our guests. Job requirements RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead by Example: Supervise and support our Room Attendants in maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation. - Ensure Perfection: Inspect guest rooms and ensure they meet our exceptional standards before check-in. - Coordinate & Communicate: Keep the room status in Opera up to date and inform other departments about housekeeping matters. - Train & Develop: Provide training sessions and ensure that Room Attendants are familiar with all in-house facilities to assist guests. - Uphold Housekeeping Procedures: Oversee lost and found, key control, health and safety, and security measures for both guests and employees. - Manage Administration: Ensure compliance with all housekeeping protocols. REQUIREMENTS - Passion for Luxury Hospitality: You understand the importance of five-star service. - Supervisory Skills: You can motivate and guide a team effectively. - Attention to Detail: You have an eye for perfection and take pride in maintaining high standards. - Excellent Communication: You are proactive, professional, and fluent in English (an additional language is a plus). - Organized & Efficient: You know how to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in Hospitality: Previous experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel is a plus.
