The purpose of this job is to serve as a laboratory support analyst within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities that you be covering:
As a Laboratory Support Analyst you will coordinate the lifecycle management of samples through the laboratory, including receipt, logging, labelling, retrieval, storage, internal transfers and external shipment, ensuring full traceability and compliance through SAP and LIMS systems.As a Laboratory Support Analyst you will support the effective management of freezer systems and reference material inventories, including QBAS alarm monitoring, alarm follow‑up and trend requests, freezer logbook reviews, audit readiness, and liaison with Maintenance to support calibrations and preventative maintenance activities.You will ensure accurate, timely and compliant completion of all documentation and systems, including SAP work orders, Job Cards, quality records and sample documentation, in line with Eurofins quality standards, client requirements and regulatory expectations.As a Laboratory Support Analyst you will coordinate day‑to‑day laboratory support activities including sample shipping logistics, pipette coordination within the central laboratory, sample retrieval from the warehouse, manufacture label printing, and communication with alarm responders during planned freezer activities.You will generate and maintain reports and metrics from environmental monitoring and water analysis data, contributing to quality, operational and business KPIs, and actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation of laboratory processes.You will provide flexible support to laboratory operations by training personnel on freezer and sample management, assisting analytical teams as required, maintaining personal training records, providing cover for PSS team members, and consistently adhering to Eurofins standards for safety, housekeeping, quality and client service. What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an QC Environmental Monitoring Analyst:
As a Laboratory Support Analyst you will hold a third‑level qualification in a scientific discipline or a related field.You will have experience of working within a GMP laboratory environment.As a Laboratory Support Analyst you will demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to shared objectives and laboratory operations.You will possess strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.As a Laboratory Support Analyst you will display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring work is completed to the highest quality and compliance standards.You will demonstrate effective organisation of workload, workspace and time management to meet deadlines and operational priorities.
