About this role
This position will be responsible for hands-on processing activities that include room setup, equipment and material preparation, equipment assembly and disassembly, cleaning, and processing of raw materials into finished drug product.
This role requires adherence to procedures, strong attention to detail in completing documentation, proficiency in electronic systems, and participation in continuous improvement projects. The candidate will collaborate closely with team members and partner groups including formulators, engineers, Safety, and Facilities management to drive overall success of the development pipeline.
For this role, training will be provided for all key operations but prior experience in a pharmaceutical lab setting would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares, operates, and cleans equipment and facilities used in development manufacturing processes. Maintains, inventories, and transports required processing equipment, materials, supplies, and products. Executes all documentation and clerical functions necessary to maintain lab and pilot area operationsSterilization Processes: Operate and maintain cleaning and sterilization equipment, including parts washers, dry heat ovens, and autoclaves. Supply Management: Receive, inspect, and store sterile supplies and equipment, ensuring proper inventory levels and organization within the sterile supply area. Sterile Formulation: Prepare and formulate sterile products according to established protocols and batch records, ensuring accuracy and proper material handlingThe position is based in Rahway, NJ and is 100% on-site.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a science or related field.At least a year of industry laboratory experienceDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in computer systems and applications including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook),Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, squat, crawl, twist, climb ladders, and don & wear cleanroom protective gowning including respirators. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate both independently and as a part of a team. The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
