Job Summery In close consultation with the Manager of Operations and Chief Engineer the Field. Engineer will contribute to the maintenance of the technical installations and infrastructure on the Datacenters. Position in the organization: The Field Engineer reports directly to the Chief Engineer. Responsibilities: The Senior Field Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a Datacenter. - Assist for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance, that meets all datacenter standards and procedures, by leveraging competent contractor/vendor resources with attention to quality. - Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting of all electrical and mechanical systems of the datacenter. - Inform and brief the Chief Engineer on planned and corrective work occurring in the datacenter. - Supervises contractors carrying out work within the Data Center - Responsible for ensuring that supervised work being done by contractors/vendors is logged in the maintenance systems. - Assists with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts - Work on 1-line equipment according to Planned Preventive Maintenance Schedule, including roadmap to be approved by Manager of Operations an...
