Eurofins PSS is seeking a Purification Scientist to permanently work at a client site to support purification and analytical characterization of gene therapy cell culture samples. The successful employee will thrive in a high throughput environment, utilizing automated and manual instruments.
Position Responsibilities:
Completing purification runs utilizing Tecan mini-column or tip-based runs, protein maker runs, AKTA bench top runs, or other approved methodsPacking columns, prepping samples, running assaysDocumentation and data analysis, interpretation, and reportingAdapting to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment is essential Basic Minimum Qualifications:
BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) with at least a year of industry experience in purification using HPLC or AKTAStrong pipetting skillsAbility and willingness to learn and work with automation/robotic handlersMust have a strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze dataMust be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with Tecan or other automated liquid handlersExperience working in a GMP, GLP, or GxP environment The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Philadelphia, PA are encouraged to apply.
