About this role
The HPLC Scientist – Analytical Development will contribute as part of an analytical development team supporting biological therapeutic product release and characterization testing in a regulated, compliance-based environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Execute analytical development and routine testing using established methods to support biologics characterization and release testing.Independently perform techniques including but not limited to:HPLC/UPLC (SEC, CEX, Reverse Phase)Capillary Electrophoresis (CE, CE-SDS)icIEF (Maurice), iCEP20, P80 methodsPerform data analysis, interpretation, and documentation in accordance with approved test methods, protocols, and reporting requirements.Troubleshoot HPLC, UPLC, and/or CE methods and instrumentation as needed.Apply sound scientific judgment in technique selection, method execution, and problem-solving for assignments of moderate scope and complexity.Conduct all work in compliance with cGMP/GLP, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.Support non-laboratory tasks as assigned (e.g., documentation support, data review, presentations). Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of hands-on experience using HPLC/UPLC (RP, SEC, and/or CE).
OR
Master’s degree in a related scientific discipline with 6+ months of directly relevant academic or internship experience using HPLC/UPLC (RP, SEC, and/or CE).
Additional requirements:
Strong understanding of HPLC/UPLC/CE principles and separation theory, particularly RP and/or SEC methods.Familiarity with industry practices, regulated environments, and analytical documentation standards.Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques, manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and follow written procedures.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
