Job Description:
Eurofins PSS is seeking a Cell Gene Therapy Scientist to permanently work at a client site to support process development for rAAV-based gene therapy programs. This position will work in a team of three to support the development and qualification of assays, new reagents, and equipment in a fast-paced, high throughput environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Assay planning, preparation, execution, and post-run activities utilizing qPCR, dPCR, cell-based potency, ELISA, immunoassay, and compendial assay runs for rAAV-based gene therapy testingParticipate in qualification of new reagents and equipment, and assay investigationsSample and reagent preparation via automated liquid handlers (Tecan Fluent), data analysis, interpretation, and reportingDocumentation (ELN) in a GLP or GxP environment Basic Minimum Qualifications:
BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) with at least a year of industry experience in the following:ELISA, qPCR, PCR, or other manual immunoassaysExperience utilizing pH and osmolality testingGLP or GxP experienceAbility and willingness to learn and work with automation/robotic handlersMust have a strong attention to detailMust be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with compendial assays (endotoxin, visual inspection, bioburden, et.) The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Philadelphia, PA are encouraged to apply.
