About this role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support microbiological validation testing and lab operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role involves performing endotoxin and bioburden testing, preparing microbial cultures, conducting growth promotion, and supporting general lab maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on microbiology experience, strong documentation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Duties Include:
Endotoxin and bioburden testing General lab duties (cleaning, inventory, stocking, cold room, 5S, etc.) Challenge recovery of in-process, cell culture, purification, drug substance and raw material samplesPreparation of microbial cultures used in for validation protocols, developmental studies, and growth promotion Growth promotion testing Mold spore suspensions Plate reading Data verification and review Technical WritingParticipation in continuous improvement initiatives Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a cGMP Quality Control Microbiology laboratoryHands-on experience with standard microbiological methods and aseptic techniques, including:Bioburden testing (membrane filtration)Endotoxin testing (LAL)Familiarity with cGMP guidelinesPrior experience working in a laboratory environmentExperience using LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooksProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelExcellent problem-solving skillsSolid written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of experimental design and scientific methodology, with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusionsAuthorized to work in the United States without restriction or the need for sponsorship What to Expect in the Hiring Process:
