Job Summary:
Conduct purification and analytical testing using advanced instrumentation, while supporting lab operations, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Protein purification
Buffer preparation & formulation
Column packing
HPLC, SEC or ProA
Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
Sample management (aliquot preparation)
Lab maintenance: Freezer/fridge inventory, sample disposal, equipment prep for maintenance, equipment cleaning and storage (HPLC, AKTA), buffer ordering and inventory, lab waste management
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in life science concentration (chemistry, biology, or related fields) and more than 2 years of directly related industry experience or a MS/PhD degree in a life science concentration (chemistry, biology, or related fields) and up to 2 years of directly related industry experience.Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or a need for sponsorship.Technical & Scientific Skills:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with data analysis preferred.Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external clients.Work Style & Compliance:
Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
Proven ability to learn new techniques, follow instructions, and maintain accurate records.
Strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and productivity.
