Structural Designer (TEKLA) Introduction As a Structural Designer, you'll transform engineering concepts into accurate 3D models and detailed production drawings. Function - Develop detailed 3D models, General Arrangement, fabrication and assembly drawings for offshore structures; - Translate engineering calculations and concepts into practical, buildable designs; - Model structural steel, appurtenances and temporary structures such as grillage, seafastening and lifting arrangements; - Support engineers with technical detailing and coordinate models and drawings across multiple engineering disciplines; - Prepare drawing packages for fabrication and construction; - Ensure all models and drawings comply with project requirements, offshore standards and Enersea's quality procedures. Requirements You enjoy turning engineering ideas into practical designs and have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. - HBO degree or MBO+ education in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a comparable technical discipline; - Experience as a Structural Designer within the offshore, maritime or heavy industry sector; - Good knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication methods, with experience in Tekla Structures and/or AutoCAD (SolidWorks is an advantage); - Strong communication skills in English; Dutch language skills or willingness to learn Dutch; - A proactive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
