Key Responsibilities • Provide a caring, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children. • Plan, implement, and review developmentally appropriate activities in line with Aistear and Síolta. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including observations, learning stories, and daily logs. • Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through high-quality interactions. • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children, following service policies and national regulations. • Communicate warmly and professionally with parents/guardians, sharing updates and supporting positive relationships. • Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive, respectful, and supportive working environment. • Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development. • Assist with room organisation, cleaning routines, and maintaining a safe, inviting learning space. • Uphold all Child Safeguarding requirements, including mandatory reporting procedures.
