This role As a Senior Full Stack Ruby Engineer, you’ll be working with our Engineering team and will be instrumental in building high scalable and robust features in our HR Product.
This will include:
You will be supporting a cross functional team of Developers, Product Managers and Designers tackling projects from end to end in a fast pace and high growth environment. You will take technical requirements to create clean, well organized and reusable Ruby and Angular/React codeYou will have ownership around major areas of the application and drive visible impact to the product by contributing high impact solutions on a daily basisYou will be responsible for identifying and fixing any bottlenecks or bugsYou will help add to an environment of learning and innovation by mentoring your fellow team mates on best practices and vice versa. You are a highly skilled, senior-level Software Development Engineer (our Senior Engineers typically have 6+ years of experience in Software Development, but we grade based on technical expertise over years of experience)In previous roles, you’ve focused on Server-side and RESTful API Development and integrationExcellent experience with Ruby on RailsYou have proven experience implementing, maintaining and deploying full-stack web technologiesYou have a strong understanding of best practice software engineering processes, testing, and Agile methodologyA team player that always puts colleagues ahead of yourself and has a highly adaptable and versatile approach to workYou have good verbal and written English skills You’re passionate about learning, sharing your knowledge, and mentoring team matesExperience is important, but for us the biggest measure of success is people who can live and breathe our EH Way of working.
