We are looking for a **skilled and motivated Cook** to join our Japanese izakaya restaurant in Helsinki. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with Japanese and broader East Asian cuisine and who can work efficiently in a busy restaurant kitchen. - Previous experience working as a **cook** in a restaurant kitchen - Good **chopstick skills** and familiarity with Japanese-style food preparation - Experience with **East Asian cuisine**, including but not limited to: Japanes, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese - Experience working in an **Asian restaurant or kitchen is a strong advantage** - Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment - Good understanding of food hygiene, preparation, and kitchen safety - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Japanese language skills are **an advantage** - Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn What We Offer - Full-time employment in a Japanese izakaya restaurant in Helsinki - A professional and friendly working environment - Opportunity to develop your skills in Japanese and East Asian cuisine - Competitive salary according to experience and applicable collective agreement - Opportunities for overtime and additional shifts when available How to Apply Please send your **CV and a short introduction** describing your cooking experience, especially your experience with Japanese or other East Asian cuisine.
