About this role
Responsibilities Lead the development team and provide technical coaching to junior and medior developers. Execute complex programming tasks including coding, testing, and debugging Java-based applications. Drive the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies within the project team. Develop robust REST APIs and integrate them with modern frontend components. Optimize database performance and maintain data models within a PostgreSQL environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions. Requirements 5+ years of backend development with Java and Spring Boot . 5+ years of frontend development using Angular . 5+ years of experience with REST API design and implementation. 5+ years of experience working with SQL and PostgreSQL . 5+ years of experience with Jenkins for CI/CD processes. 5+ years of experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation. You possess experience in a leading role within an Agile environment. You have a proven track record in leading and coaching a development team. You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level. Nice to Haves Experience within the education or EdTech sector. Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies. Experience in the development or creation of data platforms. 3+ years of experience with JSON . Experience with comprehensive technical documentation.
