About this role
As a Junior Blowerdoor Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out airtightness tests on a wide range of construction projects. This role combines technical fieldwork with customer interaction and technical advisory services. Your responsibilities: Performing blower door tests at residential homes, apartment buildings, retail stores, and other construction projects. Using specialized testing equipment to measure the airtightness of buildings and identify air leakage . Interpreting test results and preparing clear, accurate technical reports . Explaining the results to customers and providing technical advice on potential improvements to enhance a building's airtightness. Working independently on-site while ensuring a high-quality , accurate and customer-focused execution of all measurements. Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and acting as their technical point of contact throughout the testing process. The ideal Junior Blowerdoor Technician: A junior profile with a technical background , preferably a Bachelor's degree in Construction or another relevant technical field. Previous experience with blower door testing is not required . Motivation and willingness to learn are far more important. A strong interest in engineering , construction , and building technologies , combined with a proactive , independent , and responsible mindset. Good communication skills in Dutch and French . A combination of French and English is also acceptable. A flexible attitude , including the willingness to start early, work occasional evenings, and weekends. Based in the Brussels or Flemish Brabant region , with the willingness to travel to construction sited throughout Belgium .
