Our client is a logistics trading company based in Breda. Jobomschrijving In this role, you combine operational, commercial, and coordinating responsibilities within international ocean freight. You manage the full transport process from A to Z and act as the key link between internal teams and external partners. In addition, you lead a team and ensure structure, overview, and continuous process optimization. The position is based in Breda, so you are willing to commute to this location on a daily basis. Your Responsibilities Coordinate international deep-sea shipments (cross-trade) Maintain contact and negotiate with shipping lines, forwarders, and suppliers Book and follow up shipments until delivery Manage and verify export documentation (B/Ls, L/Cs, Incoterms) Analyze rates and optimize transport flows Report to purchasing and sales teams Lead and support a team (5 FTE) Contribute to and implement improvements in operational processes Your Profile 3 to 5 years of experience as a freight forwarder (deep sea), ready for the next step Strong operational and commercial mindset Experience with international transport within a trading environment is a plus Good command of English (required); additional languages are an asset (Dutch not required) Proactive, assertive, and strong communicator Able to build relationships and identify opportunities Strong organizational skills and sense of responsibility Flexible mindset (willing to commute to Breda; international environment with multiple time zones)
