Position overview: The role supports the EHS Manager to ensure and safeguard environmental, health and safety (EHS) aspects, fire safety and property protection (FSPP) sustainability programmes to ensure the safety and well-being of all workers and protection of the environment. Also he/she will provide advice and guidance to plant management on EHS, FSPP, and any other safety, health, well-being issues. Safety Advisor will support EHS Manager with daily management of EHS and FSPP risks to ensure the plant meets it compliance obligations and Ball requirements and implements best practice. The job position helps coordinate EHS activity. Key responsibilities include: Point of contact for the external service personnel responsible for psychosocial aspects, occupational hygiene, ergonomics, and occupational medicine. Assist in the identification of hazards. Provide advice on appropriate risks and propose possible (preventive) measures. Provide training within the framework of a stable safety culture. Provide advice and proposals regarding the purchase of work equipment, PPE, and the layout of workplaces. Drafting the Annual Action Plan and the Global Prevention Plan. Maintaining records regarding occupational accidents and reporting them. Implementing the annual action plan. Investigating workstations, conducting a thorough, in-depth examination of the workplaces and workstations. Drafting safety instructions. Providing advice and supervision regarding fire prevention. Identifying, relevant, and inventorying risks. Supporting solutions and their implementation. Objectively document and record on-site findings in a report. Collect additional information useful for the report. Handle the administrative follow-up of the execution of assignments and decisions made. Gather and classify all documents in the file. Prepare reports in accordance with regulations. Prepare risk analyses and job description sheets. Organize medical examinations in collaboration with the external service. What Are We Looking For? Level I or II Prevention Advisor certification. Experience of min 2-3 years as Safety Advisor. Experience in industry. Fluent English and Dutch.
