Your Tasks - Subproject management of work packages in the areas of sensor development, sensor breadboard, and technology development - Subproject management for an optical instrument in Phase B1/B2/C - Planning, management, and execution of all aspects related to these work packages - Acquisition of external funding to support the co-financing of the activity - Overall coordination between development, procurement, product assurance, and AIT for the optical instrument - Preparation, maintenance, and communication of the necessary schedules to track progress, as well as proactive management to ensure an efficient development cycle - Internal and external stakeholder management - Technical guidance for team members - Preparation of necessary trade-offs and associated actions - Regular reporting to project management on the status and progress of the development and technology activities Your Qualifications - Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification - Proven track record in connection with a space product - Deep knowledge of space instrument programmes - Experience in building industrial consortia - Sound understanding of the specific constraints and challenges of Earth observation missions - Very good understanding of the relationship between schedule, budget, and quality in space projects, with the ability to balance these dimensions and set priorities - Experience in the technical leadership of project teams, particularly in development - Strong customer orientation, results orientation, and cost awareness - Confident and convincing manner, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial mindset - Highly proactive, structured, and self-organized way of working - Team player with a high level of cooperation and strong conflict-resolution skills - Very good communication skills - Strong organizational skills - Willingness to travel regularly
