Department: Trade Finance Operations Department, Import Unit Corporate title: Administrator, Contract Staff

General Objectives: Responsible for supporting daily trade finance operations across import, export, trade loan, and bank guarantee transactions, while providing quality service that supports customer satisfaction and strengthens the Bank’s reputation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Process transactions by checking Letter of Credit (LC) terms and applications, ensuring trade finance documents comply with applicable international and local rules, Bank policies and procedures, and market practices; communicate with customers as needed and input transactions accurately into the Bank’s relevant systems. • Perform transaction control by ensuring all documents are processed as requested, properly reconciled, and that applicable fees are received and booked correctly. • Handle investigations and customer service by providing prompt and reliable responses to inquiries from customers, Banks’s internal stakeholder at front/middle, and correspondent banks. • Support ad-hoc assignments, including system enhancements, bug fixes, report preparation, and special projects by providing accurate data and investigation results. Identify and implement process and procedural improvements to enhance productivity and strengthen risk controls.

Requirements: Experience or knowledge in daily trade finance operations, including import, export, is preferred. Fresh graduates with sound knowledge of international trade are welcome to apply. Fast learner, agile, and able to adapt quickly to transaction processing needs and operational changes. Able to work effectively in a team and automated system environment, with good interpersonal skills. Strong customer and business orientation, with good awareness of risk and fraud controls. Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable • Degree in finance or other relevant field CERTIFICATIONS WORK EXPERIENCE • Familiarity with a business environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Knowledge of financial products, accounting principles and compliance regulations a plus FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Willingness to learn: • Relevant regional bank policies, procedures and government regulatory agencies • Applicable economic and political risks in international trade, e.g. exchange rate risk • Commonly used trade financing reporting, reconciliation and audit mechanisms and tools FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Communicates effectively • Is detail-oriented and focused • Learns while doing • Develops analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills • Exercises sound judgement and strives for continuous improvement • Demonstrates optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas • Follows curiosity • Actively listens and asks thoughtful questions • Leverages available technology to achieve efficiency and results • Engages inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity RESPONSIBILITIES • Supports: • Trade finance transactions such as letters of credit, amendments, acceptances and collections reimbursements • The preparation and recording of issuances, amendments, negotiations and related trade finance correspondence • Reconciliation and balancing of letters of credit fees, liabilities and posted items • Verification and disbursement of payments • Investigation of customer inquiries • Tracking and improving standard operating procedures • Data analysis and production of reports
