About The Team
You’ll be joining the Joybuy team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
[Responsibilities]
• Build the AI Intelligent Translation System:Lead the 0-to-1 setup and strategic planning of Joybuy's full-scenario AI intelligent translation system (covering product details, marketing campaigns, customer service communication, legal terms, etc.). Drive the implementation and iteration of cutting-edge translation models like NMT/LLM in business operations. • Optimize Models & Manage Corpora:Responsible for the training, testing, and fine-tuning of German translation models. Build and continuously clean high-quality German parallel corpora to ensure the accuracy, idiomaticity, and brand tone consistency of AI translation results. • Manage Full Project Lifecycles:As the Project Owner, take charge of schedule planning, resource coordination, and risk control for AI translation projects. Set clear milestones and drive efficient collaboration between technical teams (algorithm, engineering) and business teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. • Control Localization Quality & Experience:Establish scientific AI translation quality evaluation standards (e.g., MQM) and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) workflows. Continuously optimize the platform's German shopping experience, taking into account German consumer behavioral habits (e.g., rigor, attention to detail, privacy, and legal compliance). • Cross-cultural Collaboration & Problem Solving:Work efficiently in a complex, multilingual, cross-timezone, and cross-cultural team environment. Bridge the technical and business teams from China and Europe, keenly identifying and resolving bottlenecks and pain points during project advancement. [Requirements]
• Language Skills:Native German speaker with a profound foundation in German literature and culture. Ability to accurately capture the linguistic preferences and cultural taboos of local German consumers; English as a working language. • Experience:Hands-on experience in building AI translation models and localizing/implementing NMT/LLM. Familiar with model training, corpus cleaning, and evaluation mechanisms. • Project Management:3+ years of project management experience. Possess strong project-driving ability and execution skills, with a proven track record of delivering results under resource constraints and uncertainty. • Soft Skills: • Cross-cultural Team Collaboration:Global mindset, able to seamlessly bridge the working culture differences between China and Europe, and drive consensus. • Problem Solving:Clear logical thinking. Able to quickly identify root causes and propose creative solutions when facing conflicts between technology and business needs. • Resilience & Self-drive:Entrepreneurial spirit with strong self-motivation. Able to embrace changes in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
