Operation Centre Shift Manager
What you will do We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) as a Shift Manager. The GSOC Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the GSOC and for receiving, assessing, escalating, and/or responding to all events involving MS personnel (including vendors and contractors), assets, or property on a global basis. The OCSM is the first line supervisor for all personnel on his/her respective shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. How you will do it
• Oversee the daily operations of the GSOC during assigned shifts.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment to detect and respond to potential security threats.
• Coordinate and manage emergency response efforts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise, train, and mentor GSOC staff, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for GSOC operations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of GSOC processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present reports on security incidents, trends, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Take necessary actions to provide a consistent delivery of security and communications services.
What we look for
• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, technologies, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using security software and tools.
• Experience working in a GSOC or similar security operations environment.
• Knowledge of international security standards and practices.
