About this role
As a Night Shift Team Lead, you will lead and support our overnight Class 3 delivery team to ensure safe, efficient operations and on-time deliveries. Your goal will be to build a high-performing night shift team that delivers excellent customer service while meeting safety and operational targets. Your success will depend on your ability to support drivers, promote a safety-first culture, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.
Please note:
• The schedule for this position will be from Sunday to Thursday • Scheduled hours for this position are 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM • This is a field based position. Your time will be spent in our Class 3 delivery vehicles doing deliveries with our driving team

Your Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Class 3 overnight shift drivers to achieve safety, attendance, and delivery performance targets • Act as the primary point of contact during overnight operations, independently resolving after-hours issues and emergencies • Coordinate responses to driver incidents and service disruptions through effective planning and problem-solving • Collaborate with dispatch and key stakeholders to resolve logistical challenges and ensure smooth execution of scheduled work • Make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment to support operational and customer service objectives • Monitor driver compliance, including E-log reporting and data accuracy within TMW • Provide regular operational updates, reports, and key information to managers and stakeholders • Identify opportunities to improve overnight processes, enhance efficiencies, and optimize team performance • Promote our safety program and foster a strong safety-first culture
Your Skills:
• Leadership and performance management skills and must be able to hold employees accountable to stated performance metrics • Effective communication and relationship building capabilities • Able to build close working relationships with teams to ensure everyone is set up for success • Strong creative problem solving and decision-making skills
Your Experience:
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience is an asset • 2-3 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role, preferably in operational leadership, dispatch, fleet maintenance, or as a professional driver
The expected salary range for this position is $54,380 - $67,975. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
