Print Spend Financial Analyst Description - Job Summary
In the Worldwide Print Spend Team you will be responsible for analyzing Operating Expenses and Cost of Sales for the Print Group. Your focus will be on the forecasting process, budgeting, month end close activities, cost controls, and reporting. You will be responsible for leading and providing expertise, providing narratives and assistance to the stakeholders. You will be collaborating with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and mentor lower-level employees.
Responsibilities What will your day consist of?
• Drives the forecasting process (monthly) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Participates in cross-functional teams as a representative of the finance domain. Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making
• Performs comprehensive financial analysis for specific functions or business units, identifies issues and recommends solutions.
• Executes month-end-close activities: bookings, re-classes. Executes and provides story behind the numbers and narratives
• Collaborates with business leaders, holds business reviews to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a defined scope
• Provides key financial guidance as a subject matter expert to the stakeholders
• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to projects, to support resolving business issues and establishing policies
• Supports audits (internal, external, SOX)
• Identifies opportunities for improved efficiency and organizational growth.
• Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls
Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, finance analysis, expenditures, accounting, or a related field
