What You’ll Be Doing
• Serve as a key member of the Regional Finance Team and responsible for managing critical financial projects that are foundational to our growth and success.
• Execute the development and launch of new financial products, ensuring they are built on a solid foundation of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes.
• New Product Development: You will be responsible for assessing the financial and regulatory implications, defining accounting and reporting requirements, and ensuring the successful integration of new products into our finance systems.
• SFRS(I), IFRS & Accounting Excellence: Ensure the financial projects and new products adhere to the latest Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (International) (“SFRS(I)”) and International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”), with a particular focus on the nuances of SFRS(I) 9 and IFRS 9 for a digital lending portfolio. You will provide guidance on complex accounting treatments and ensure the integrity of our financial data.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Product, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our finance processes and systems, leveraging technology and automation to build a best-in-class finance function.
Who We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or professional Accounting qualifications.
• Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in project management or business analysis.
• Strong in Excel skills. Experience with Tableau and Snowflake would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Financial accounting and exposure to ERP/Accounting systems
• Project management skills for finance or other banking projects will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills, able to communicate clearly with senior business stakeholders and peers.
• Good time management skills, able to deliver quality work on time.
