Job Description The Opportunity
GE Vernova is electrifying the world — and the relationships you build will help power that mission. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you'll be the strategic face of GE Vernova to our most important customers, driving commercial growth, deepening partnerships, and shaping the deals that matter. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for a commercially sharp professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, relationship management, and results.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and grow key accounts within your geographic territory, identifying opportunities to sell GE Vernova's products, services, solutions, and projects. • Drive commercial strategy by contributing to policy development and ensuring consistent execution across your area of responsibility. • Leverage market intelligence to stay ahead of competitor activity, applying in-depth knowledge of industry best practices to differentiate GE Vernova in the market. • Make sound commercial decisions on moderately complex challenges across sales processes, campaigns, and customer engagements — bringing fresh thinking to existing solutions. • Mentor and support less experienced colleagues, acting as a go-to resource and potentially leading small-to-mid-scale projects with cross-functional stakeholders. • Build consensus and influence across internal and external audiences, translating complex or sensitive information into clear, compelling narratives.
Who You Are You're a seasoned commercial professional with a track record of winning business and building lasting customer relationships. You bring strategic thinking, strong judgment, and the interpersonal skills to bring others along with you. Required
• Significant experience in senior sales or key account management role, ideally within a complex B2B or industrial environment • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-value customer accounts within a defined geographic territory • Strong commercial acumen — comfortable operating with autonomy, entering into commercial arrangements, and navigating complex negotiations • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations Preferred
• Experience in the energy, power, or industrial technology sector • Prior experience leading or mentoring sales professionals or contributing to team-level strategy
Education A formal degree — Bachelor's or master’s in business, Engineering, or a related field — is a plus, but we're most interested in your total commercial experience and what you've achieved. Equivalent professional experience is fully considered.
Why GE Vernova? At GE Vernova, we're not just building careers — we're building a cleaner energy future. You'll work alongside some of the most talented people in the industry, with the resources and backing of a global leader, and the agility to make a real impact.
