*Responsibilities*
* Supervise and coordinate all custodial and cleaning activities within the facility, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards * Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to maintain consistency and excellence in service * Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote teamwork, safety, and professional growth * Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations * Conduct regular inspections of all areas to identify cleanliness issues or safety hazards, taking prompt corrective action * Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices, including proper use of chemicals and equipment * Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives during off-peak hours
*Qualifications*
* Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards * Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams within a hospitality or facilities management setting * Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively * Strong communication skills to train staff clearly and foster a positive work environment * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
