*About the Position*
We're looking for a motivated, energetic, and hardworking PTA/Rehab Assistant interested in joining a growing organization. You'll gain valuable experience working alongside a team with decades of community-based practice, with opportunities to develop your clinical skills and grow within the company. For the right individual, there's potential to advance into a clinical leadership role over time.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Assist the supervising physiotherapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for residents in an assisted living setting * Carry out delegated treatments, including strength training, stretching, range of motion exercises, balance work, and gait training * Lead and support group exercise classes for residents * Maintain accurate documentation and communication in accordance with CPO guidelines
*Qualifications*
* PTA/OTA diploma, Kinesiology degree, or related healthcare background * Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living settings is an asset * Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening completed within the last 6 months
