*Job type*
Part time / on-call from 4-20 hours per week with a 3-hour minimum with no overnight driving. All local driving within 500km with minimal border crossings, no overnighters, no long hauls.

Wage: $25.00 / hour with 3-hour minimum
This is an on-call position 1-3 trips per week on average

*Summary*
We are seeking a part time, on-call DZ Truck Driver to join our team in Windsor, Ontario.
*Prerequisites:*
Experience required driving a manual transmission straight truck
Chaining down steel dies, coils, molds and plates up to 45,000 lbs.
D-Z license (minimum) with clean driving abstract
Ability to do minimal, border crossing is required
*Responsibilities*
* Operate and drive DZ trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently. * Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. * Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. * Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues. * Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations. * Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries. * Assist with loading/unloading as needed, utilizing heavy equipment when necessary
*Qualifications*
* Valid DZ driver?s license with a clean driving record. * Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within a manufacturing environment. * Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts. * Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to transportation. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication skills in English. Preferred
