*JOB OVERVIEW*
The Automotive Service technician is responsible for inspecting and repairing a wide range fleet vehicles. This licensed professional will oversee maintenance inspections, monitor inventory, assemble mechanical components, diagnose, perform repairs, and complete documentation. (This is an hourly position, not flat rate)
*RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES*
* Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems such as power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering and hydraulics. * Complete annual CVIP inspections and certifications. * Proficient with hand and power tools. * Proficient with electronic components and computerized equipment. * Troubleshoot mechanical problems. * Maintain relationships with multiple vendors to source parts in a timely and cost-effective manner. * Travel and overnight trips to perform offsite service and maintenance may be required.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Licensed Automotive Service Technician within Alberta * 2+ years Automotive Service Technician experience would be an asset * Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision * Problem solving skills that can be displayed and communicated efficiently * Must be physically fit enough to meet the challenges of hard physical work (lift to 50 pounds). * Computer proficient * Successfully PASS and maintain Criminal Record Check * Fluent in English, written and spoken

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
