About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations at an independently-owned pharmacy with a manageable daily script volume ? ideal for a pharmacist who values quality patient interactions over high-pressure script counts. This leadership role requires strong clinical knowledge and supervisory experience.
*Compensation:* $50?60/hr, depending on experience.
*Duties*
* Manage daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory control, and staff supervision * Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal pharmacy regulations and safety standards * Provide expert guidance on medication administration and patient care protocols * Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management * Oversee the preparation and review of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness * Lead efforts to improve customer satisfaction
*Requirements*
* Valid Pharmacist license in Ontario, in good standing with OCP * Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered Pharmacist in Canada * Valid injection training and first aid certificate * Excellent patient care skills with a focus on safety, accuracy, and confidentiality * Proficiency in using Kroll computer software and in insurance billing * Experience in expanded scope services including injection administration, medication reviews, and minor ailments prescribing * Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry regulations and best practices * English required; Farsi fluency an asset * Outstanding customer service skills
