*Qualifications / Requirements*
· Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE*)*
Working knowledge of:
* _Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)_ * _How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH?)_ * _Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT)_ * _City of Toronto Assessment for Quality Improvement (AQI)_ * _Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC)_
· *Current and Clear Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening*
*· Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification*
*· Up-to-date immunizations*
*· Proficiency in English (spoken and written)*
*Responsibilities*
* Take leadership within the program room, ensuring documentation and required paperwork are accurate, current, and compliant with CCEYA and City of Toronto AQI standards. * Use observation and documentation effectively to plan and implement enriched learning experiences tailored to children?s developmental needs and interests. * Integrate ELECT, HDLH?, and Ontario?s Pedagogy for the Early Years into daily programming and interactions. * Interact with children using an inquiry-based approach, co-learning alongside them while maintaining supervision to ensure health, safety, and well-being. * Organize the physical environment to optimize space, materials, and furniture that support children?s engagement and positive behaviour. * Communicate effectively with families, co-workers, and community partners, building trust and collaboration. * Support children?s natural curiosity, independence, and self-help skills through daily routines and experiences.

Pay: $28.00-$29.03 per hour
