*Office Assistant / Executive Assistant*
Power King is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and solutions-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This is a home office-based position located in Sutton, Ontario, working directly under the Office Manager/Controller.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career in office administration, customer service, and operations. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and support while learning the day-to-day operations of our business. As you develop your skills and understanding of our systems and operations, there will be an opportunity to grow into a Scheduling role.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, eager to learn, and enjoys helping things run smoothly. You don't need to be an experienced scheduler we can teach you our systems and processes. What matters most is your attitude, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to take initiative.
*Key Responsibilities*
Working directly with the Office Manager/Controller, responsibilities will include:
* Provide general administrative and office support to management and the operations team. * Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally and promptly. * Assist with customer inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate team member. * Enter, update, and maintain accurate customer and job information in company databases and systems. * Assist with filing, document organization, data entry, and general office administration. * Assist with preparing customer information, job documentation, and other administrative materials. * Monitor and organize incoming information to ensure important details are communicated to the appropriate team members. * Assist with accounts receivable, invoicing, and other basic administrative accounting tasks as required. * Help maintain organized office records and systems. * Learn and become proficient with company software, databases, and online platforms. * Assist the Office Manager/Controller with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects. * Provide support to the scheduling and operations team as training and experience develop. * Eventually assist with scheduling, customer confirmations, crew coordination, and route planning as part of the progression into a Scheduling role. * Take on additional administrative responsibilities as required. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform occasional physical tasks, including moving stock, organizing materials, and assisting with light shop duties as required.20.

As the successful candidate becomes familiar with our customers, systems, operations, and administrative processes, they will be gradually introduced to the scheduling side of the business.
The goal is for the right person to develop into a Scheduler, taking on greater responsibility for customer communication, crew scheduling, route planning, and day-to-day operational coordination.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn the business and grow with the company rather than simply looking for a short-term administrative position.

* Previous office or administrative experience is an asset. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Professional, friendly, and positive attitude. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Comfortable answering phones and communicating with customers. * Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized when managing multiple responsibilities. * Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, email, and internet-based platforms. * Reliable, punctual, and dependable with excellent attendance. * Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a strong team player. * Willingness to learn, take direction, and ask questions
