Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD). Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD). Tender contracts. Assist in supervising construction projects. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare conceptual designs. Apply quality control procedure. Manage contracts. Maintain filing system. Ensure that construction permits are obtained. Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes. Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules. Participate in contract negotiations. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Photoshop. AutoCAD. Autodesk REVIT. SketchUp. Adobe Acrobat Reader. Area of work experience: Design. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills.
