Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning. Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements. Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation. Examine accounting records. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
