Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Teach interest or professional development courses. Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions. Order merchandise. Establish work schedules. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Manage cash. Conduct performance reviews. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Design bouquets and select natural and artificial flowers and decorative accessories to create arrangements or other floral items. Supervision: 5-10 people. Type of product: Flowers and plants.
