About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Experience: No experience (will train). Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
