Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Offshore drilling rig. Tasks: Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety and accident prevention.. Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations . Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards. Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Advise senior management. Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants.
