Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Floriculture production. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clean the crops. Cut horticultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Harvest seedlings. Weeding. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Perform general farm duties. Type of product: Cut flowers. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
