About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Help students individually or in small groups with assignments and reinforce learning and retention concepts under the supervision of classroom teacher. Monitor students during recess and lunch hour. Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting. Assist with classroom inventory. Monitor and report student progress to classroom teacher. Assist teacher in the operation of projectors, tape recorders and other audio-visual or electronic equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child welfare check.
