Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries.
• Maintains security and integrity controls.
• Monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.
• Implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
• Controls and monitors user access to the database.
• Performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems.
• Deploy database change scripts provided by third party vendors
• Document the company’s database environment
• Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
