This clinic is located in a community eligible for the Government of Canada’s Student Loan Forgiveness Program. Eligible Associates may qualify for up to $60,000 in Canada Student Loan forgiveness, applied over a maximum of five years while building a fulfilling career in a welcoming and community-focused practice.
About the Opportunity Slave Lake Dental is seeking a patient‑focused Associate Dentist to join a highly established, technology‑forward practice serving a community of more than 25,000 residents from Slave Lake and surrounding areas. With an active patient base and a strong reputation for comprehensive care, this position offers immediate opportunity, robust mentorship, and a warm small‑town practice environment where patients truly feel like family.
Full-Time Schedule Week 1 Rotation
• Monday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Week 2 Rotation
• Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
3 Day Part-Time Schedule Available
Chair access:
• 2 dedicated DDS chairs
The Associate will work independently on Fridays, with full clinical and RDA support.
Required Clinical Skills The ideal candidate should be comfortable with:
• Bread‑and‑butter dentistry
• Basic oral surgery
• Fixed prosthodontics (crown & bridge)
Sedation & Advanced Services
• Nitrous sedation
• IV Sedation available

About You:
• Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
• Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
• Valid CPR certification
