Based in ICEYE’s Espoo headquarters, you’ll be at the core of building the world’s leading SAR satellite constellation that monitors Earth in all conditions, day and night. You’ll drive the full production lifecycle of RF payload systems, from hands-on assembly and integration to leading critical test campaigns that ensure every satellite performs flawlessly in orbit. Working closely with production specialists, engineers, and mission managers, you’ll be the go-to expert when issues arise, keeping build lines flowing and missions on track. By mentoring junior colleagues and refining how we work, you’ll turn cutting-edge RF technology into operational satellites that support disaster response, protect communities, and improve life on Earth.

ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. Your day-to-day responsibilities
Participate in satellite build activities for RF payload components starting from subsystem assembly all the way to final integration and testingGuide and mentor junior members of the team and support build activities across multiple satellitesMitigate any emergent issues on the production lineParticipate and lead testing campaigns for the RF payload of the satellite system Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams from production members, Engineers and Mission Managers to ensure successful satellite deliveriesRequirements
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
+5 years hands-on experience working in a production environment for RF systemsBSc / MSc in Electronics, RF, Aerospace or similarExcellent communication skills, both written and oral with a strong proficiency in EnglishKnowledge and understanding of EMI/EMC, High speed signals and RF systemsA positive attitude and inclination to learn new skillsWork well in a multicultural environmentNice to haves:
+2 years of experience working in a high-value production environmentExperience in PC and Linux environments as well as with tools such as Jira and PythonExperience in the aerospace or military industry is highly appreciatedExperience with Radar technology and antennasKnowledge in the design or use of radios, antennas and/or other systemsExperience working with electronics, software and mechanical systems
