Position Summary The Housekeeper provides high-quality cleaning, maintenance, and setup services across all facility areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Essential Responsibilities
• Facility Sanitation & Cleaning:
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and wax hard surface floors.
• Vacuum and deep-clean rugs and carpets using standard and specialized machinery (e.g., vacuums, buffers, shampoo machines).
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, woodwork, walls, ceilings, restrooms, and window shades.
• Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles.
• Event Support & Facility Setup:
• Set up event rooms precisely according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) diagrams.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies safely.
• Safety, Maintenance, & Customer Service:
• Follow all established safety and sanitation procedures and maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Promptly report any facility damage, maintenance issues, or evidence of vandalism to management.
• Maintain a professional, personable, and courteous demeanor when interacting with the public and coworkers.
• Perform other related operational duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Sufficient training, experience, and competence in commercial or facility janitorial operations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team.
• Customer-service oriented with a professional attitude toward the public.
