Seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong Java coding expertise and experience in API, Web, and Backend Testing. The candidate should be proficient in designing automation frameworks, executing manual and automated tests, and ensuring product quality in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze user stories and prepare manual and automated test cases. • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts. • Perform Web, API, Backend, Integration, and Regression Testing. • Validate API responses, response times, error codes, XML/JSON payloads, and authentication mechanisms. • Analyze test results, report defects, and communicate quality metrics. • Identify risks and provide mitigation recommendations. • Participate in test planning, estimation, and defect management activities.
Mandatory Skills
• 5–8 years of Manual and Automation Testing experience. • Strong Java programming skills with OOP concepts. • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, TestNG/JUnit, and Testim. • Expertise in API testing, RESTful services, and backend validation. • Good understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.). • Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. • Strong SQL and database validation skills. • Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments. • Experience validating JSON/XML payloads and OAuth/OAuth2 authentication. • Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills
• Experience with DNS, RDDS, RDAP, EPP, Registry-Registrar model, or Domain Name industry. • Exposure to Spring Integration, Apache Camel, or similar integration tools. • Experience leading test planning, estimation, and complex product testing initiatives. Ideal Candidate: A self-driven QA professional with strong Java development and automation expertise who can independently drive API and web application testing while contributing to quality engineering best practices.
