Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year
Requirements: We are ideally looking for a candidate qualified to a minimum of CompTIA A+.We ideally require IPAF 3a/3b accreditation.We need someone with at least 2 years experience in a similar role.We are looking for a conscientious and reliable work ethic.We require strong communication skills.We need a high level of professionalism with the ability to prioritise workload and work to tight timescales in line with company policies.We require strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.We need someone who can work independently or as part of a team and has a flexible approach to work.We require willingness to work to a flexible timetable, including coverage as needed and potential work at other CLdN ports across the UK and Europe.We require a valid driving licence. Responsibilities: We provide local and remote IT support for all Irish and UK sites.We maintain and install wireless and network infrastructure.We support PCs and associated IT equipment.We support all software packages used on company systems.We support CCTV and Access Control Systems.We provide IT support to vessels operated by the company.We proactively monitor and respond to incoming requests and issues via the Helpdesk platform, support email boxes, and helpdesk call queue.We administer bespoke IT systems.We follow procurement processes for IT business needs.We manage stock and maintain stock-at-risk awareness.We deal with suppliers and contractors.We participate in departmental and role-related meetings for team building, brainstorming, and development.We install and configure CCTV equipment.We provide out-of-hours support where required by the call-out rota.We work closely with IT Management to complete tasks and projects successfully.We provide advice and assistance to other members of the IT team.We work at height when required.We complete and implement assigned work within time constraints.We follow best practices and health and safety policies.We take a proactive approach to problem solving, workload, and time management.We attend relevant training courses to support our development in the IT Support Engineer role.We carry out other duties as required.
