Requirements: We are looking for someone with previous 2nd Line IT Support experience.We would ideally like strong Microsoft 365 and Intune experience.We need good knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID and Group Policy.We would like experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.We are looking for a good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.We need strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.We want excellent communication and customer service skills.You should be able to work independently and as part of a strong team.We value a proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of issues.Experience with Autopilot, MDM, SCCM, JAMF, Veeam, VMware/Hyper-V or education-based MIS systems would be advantageous.Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA or Cisco qualifications would be advantageous.We require applicants to be eligible to work in the UK indefinitely without sponsorship.Ideally, you will hold a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to complete a DBS check before starting. Responsibilities: We will rely on you as the 2nd Line escalation point for more complex technical issues.We want you to provide 2nd Line support and resolve escalated technical issues.You will support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.You will manage devices using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.You will support Active Directory, Entra ID and Group Policy.You will troubleshoot Windows, hardware, software and networking issues.You will support servers, switches, wireless networks and firewalls.You will install and configure laptops, desktops and mobile devices.You will support classroom and AV technology.You will maintain strong IT security, including patching, MFA and endpoint protection.You will keep technical documentation and ticketing systems up to date.You will get involved in IT projects, upgrades, cloud migrations and cybersecurity improvements. We are offering a full-time 2nd Line IT Support Technician role based in Redhill, with some travel to South Croydon, working Monday to Friday from 8:45am to 5:00pm.
